LED light fixtures are energy-efficient, well-designed, long lasting, and come with superior light quality for everyday use in the home or office. Perhaps the most interesting new LED light fixture offered on the Pegasus Associates Lighting web site is a six inch LED downlight module for recessed lights. This new LED recessed lighting fixture installs easily in most standard six inch recessed housings replacing conventional incandescent and fluorescent downlights. The fixture uses 50% to 85% less energy, and with a life span of nearly 23 years, companies can save hundreds, or perhaps thousands, of dollars in energy and maintenance costs. The other LED products include an LED step light kit for indoor or outdoor steps or pathways. For more information visit www.pegasusassociates.com

Basement Sub Floor
I have collected a number of I Beams that I would like to turn on their side and use as a base for my sub-floor in the basement. I would lay down the beams so that there would be a space the same width as the beams between each beam laid down. I would then put a 5/8ths tongue and groove osb board on top. My Question is should I put a plastic barrier down first or don't worry about it? Also, I was going to use a PL 400 glue to secure the beams to the cement. My basement has never leaked water and was built in 1998. What is the best way to prepare the I beams and secure them to the floor? Read the answer »
