Home Theatre System
from Panasonic
With every advance in home entertainment equipment, it feels like the family room gets more and more crowded with wires, remotes and clunky black boxes. Panasonic’s new line of home theatre speakers, however, takes a cue from their streamlined Viera plasma televisions, and created a system that packs a huge technological punch into a sleek design. Pictured here is the SC-PT760, which includes a 5-disc DVD changer that can also connect to your iPod to play music, or even video. Six speakers and a sub-woofer, all crafted with a non-invasive look, ensure that every whisper will be heard from the screen from anywhere in the room. Basement Sub Floor
I have collected a number of I Beams that I would like to turn on their side and use as a base for my sub-floor in the basement. I would lay down the beams so that there would be a space the same width as the beams between each beam laid down. I would then put a 5/8ths tongue and groove osb board on top. My Question is should I put a plastic barrier down first or don't worry about it? Also, I was going to use a PL 400 glue to secure the beams to the cement. My basement has never leaked water and was built in 1998. What is the best way to prepare the I beams and secure them to the floor? Read the answer »
