Repairing gouges in wood steps from power washing
Ok, I know I screwed up royally, trying to remove paint from my outside stairs using a power washer. Held the stream too close and gouged the **** out of the stairs and landing. Sanded them but gouges are so deep. It looks terrible. Do I just need to sand until the gouges are gone? Is there any repair I can do? Not pressure treated wood. Splintering wood too. Should I just replace them? Thanks for your advice.
